e.e. cummings three poems
i thank You God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday; this is the birth
day of life and love and wings; and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any — lifted from the no
of all nothing — human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened) -
21 is…
Wearing glow-in-the-dark penguin boxers. “just chill”
Listening to the Black Keys and dancing with your fish.
Putting away your laundry.
Not even bothering with alcohol, because you’re already crazy enough.
Not being able to find your chapstick
Finding your chapstick in the first place you bother to look.
Going to bed at midnight.
Anyone wanna get crunk tomorrow afternoon? :p

Today:
Saw the Challenger space shuttle flying over 28. Also saw the massive amount of idiots who literally stopped in the middle of the road and got out of their cars to watch it fly over. Some people are commuting, here, come on!
Then went to school, used the JC elevator, and a girl came up and re-pressed the up button, although it was already lit… Then proceeded to push the button ten more times, impatiently. I really wanted to tell her that no matter how many times she pushes the button… it will never make the elevator come faster.

I feel a blog coming on… of random thoughts!
I need to see more movies.
I’m going blind, and really need to go get more contacts! Also need new glasses, because my current glasses are actually falling apart.
I enjoy stream of consciousness writing.
That guy in Norway is crazy and deserves to be euthanized. It’s people like that who actually make me see the logic of the death penalty. Aren’t some people too dangerous to keep alive?
Side note: Being pro-death penalty and pro-life are completely conflicting ideas. Either “all life is sacred,” or it’s not. You can’t really have it both ways.
My issue with the death penalty is not the death of the person, but the psychological effects on the person who is responsible for taking their life. I can imagine that would be hard to live with. Especially if you’re from Texas. Over there, they’ll kill you for anything… At the drop of a hat.
Do you believe in signs? Such as when a meme comes up at the exact time your ipod shuffles to the related song? Or when someone texts you at 11:11? Because I’m not sure if I do, but I still make a wish at 11:11, and 12:34, and I knock on wood when I don’t want to jinx myself.
I love 90’s music.
I also love the entire LOTR soundtrack.
I hate it when people yell obnoxiously in public where others are trying to study.
Growing out my hair is going extremely well, and now I’m knocking on wood to make sure that I don’t jinx myself and end up loosing it and shaving my head… again.
I’m terrified of studying abroad this summer. I still think that something will happen to completely sabotage it.
I’m fascinated by people’s eyebrow movements, and I really don’t see why that’s weird.
Pop culture is fascinating, but I really don’t care about who is having who’s baby, and I really don’t give a toss about Brangelina’s upcoming nuptials… good for them?
Damn, I’m really blind. I just looked across the room, and the people over there are all fuzzy…. weird.
I have crohn’s disease. That sucks a bit, I suppose.
I don’t get to see my dog Gilbert enough. Poor babe. He does miss me…
I’m sick of seeing anti-abortion propaganda on campus. Why can’t people just live their own lives and let other people livetheirs?
I think I would choose to be a pop star over an opera star. As much as I love opera, I think it would be more fun to perform pop music… way less serious. And we know how i hate being serious… ;]
Not that I don’t love opera singers. I do.
I JUST WANNA DANCE. Thank you, Dane Cook, for ingraining that in my head as one of the funniest things, ever.
I still love the Oxford comma, and no one will ever tear us apart.
I don’t believe that the environment is a bipartisan issue. It should be a unifying issue for all parties: we need to work together if we’re going to pass on a cleaner Earth to our posterity. (Hello, duh.)
That’s all for now, I have to go to class. :]
